Your Internet Connection is Having Issues
Yeah I know, sounds basic as hell. But before you start thinking Meta must think I’m some kind of asshole, check your actual connection first. Sometimes your wifi is connected but moving slower than a snail with a hangover. Open another website real quick – if that loads fine then it’s not your internet, it’s Facebook being Facebook.

And if you’re on mobile data? Forget about it. That shit burns through your data plan AND loads slower than watching paint dry. Switch to wifi if you can because mobile connections and Ads Manager are like oil and water – they just don’t work together properly most of the time.
Browser Problems – Classic But Annoying
So here’s the thing. Your browser might be outdated or clogged up with so much cached garbage that Ads Manager just gives up trying to load. I’ve seen this happen way too many times:

You can’t edit campaigns, can’t check metrics, can’t do anything except wait and pray they get their shit together soon. So frustrating… Similar to when your Facebook ads account gets disabled without any warning and you’re just left hanging.
Check Status Pages and Communities
I’m not playing – join some Facebook Ads groups because those people are usually the first to know when something’s broken. When Ads Manager isn’t loading for anyone, those groups blow up with people asking “is it just me or…?” At least you’ll know you’re not alone in this nightmare.
What You Can Actually Do About It
Alright so now that we know why this piece of garbage isn’t loading, let’s talk solutions. Some of these work, some don’t – depends on what’s actually causing your problem. But try them anyway because sitting there staring at a loading screen isn’t gonna help anyone.
The Basic Fixes That Actually Work Sometimes
Hit F5 or Shift+F5 like your life depends on it. Sometimes a hard refresh is all you need to kick Ads Manager back into gear. And before you think I’m being condescending, you’d be hallucinating how many problems this actually solves.
Close other tabs too. If you’ve got the Facebook Ads Library, Business Manager, AND three other Facebook tools open at the same time, your browser’s gonna struggle. Close everything except Ads Manager and see if that helps.

Reset Ads Manager Settings
Here’s something most people don’t know about. You can actually reset your Ads Manager by clicking those three dots in the upper right corner next to the Review and Publish button. Then select Reset Ads Manager and it clears out all your saved settings. Yeah you’ll have to set everything up again but at least it might actually load after that.
When Nothing Works and You’re About to Lose It
So you’ve tried everything and Ads Manager is still being a stubborn piece of shit? Time to get serious about this because you can’t just sit around waiting forever.
File a support request with Meta. Go to the Meta Business Help Center and report the issue. Upload screenshots showing the error – make it crystal clear what’s happening. Will they respond quickly? Probably not. But at least you’ve got a paper trail if this keeps happening and affecting your campaigns.
And listen – if you’ve been dealing with payment issues, that might be related too. Or maybe check if your payment methods keep getting declined when trying to boost posts – sometimes these loading problems and payment errors are all connected to the same backend mess.
Try Meta Business Suite Instead
For basic stuff like pausing ads or checking spend, Meta Business Suite actually loads faster than Ads Manager. It’s not as powerful but when you just need to make quick edits and Ads Manager is being difficult, Business Suite can save your ass. Use it as a backup option when the main platform decides to take the day off.
Platform-Wide Problems That Nobody Talks About
Sometimes the issue is bigger than just loading screens. Meta’s been having these weird glitches where ads overspend or campaigns don’t deliver properly even when everything looks fine on your end. Your dashboard might show conflicting data or metrics that don’t make any sense – these are all symptoms of the same system-wide mess that Meta refuses to acknowledge publicly.
